Retail Business Consultants and Consultant Business Analysts
Description:
We are looking for experienced Retail Business Consultants and Consultant Business Analysts to join our practice to support a number of exciting client engagements. To fulfil these roles all consultants must have a minimum of 5 years solid consulting, business analysis and project management experience using structured methods Prince 2 and SSADM / RUP in highly pressurised client facing environments.
Consultants must bring demonstrable expertise and experience in all of the following:
• Conducting and producing business cases
• Feasibility studies
• Cost-benefit analysis
• Designing and managing requirements workshops
• Full business and systems requirements analysis
• Process analysis & mapping
• Process design & modelling
• Data flow diagrams & modelling
• Functional specifications
Consultants should have solid experience across several of the following domain areas:
- Retail Supply Chain – Planning & Forecasting, Warehouse & Distribution Management Systems& Process, Order Management, Merchandise Planning & Management, Procurement, Logistics, Multi-Channel Supply Chain & Reverse Logistics
- Retail Store Systems – EPOS, EFTPoS, Kiosks, Queue Busting
- Data Warehousing
- Customer Management – Customer Relationship Management, Customer Loyalty & Rewards, Call Centre Applications and Process Management, Customer Service, Complaints Management & Promotions Management
- E-Commerce
- Retail Financial Services
Consultants must be strong communicators with a pro-active approach to driving through workstreams and be able to quickly adapt to different and changing environments. Additionally candidates must be self-motivated, able to work autonomously and a part of a team in order to achieve the required delivery targets. Solid experience of using the following tools: Visio, MS Project, Microsoft Office. Exposure to Case Tools (Popkin, Rational Rose) would be advantageous.
Consultants will be expected to advise and guide clients on solving problems through the application of retail knowledge and experience, process modelling business analysis and best practice methods to deliver demonstrable value to clients.
Consultants will be expected to identify new opportunities and contribute to the development of these opportunities in order to support the ongoing growth of existing client accounts and the pre-sales activity to acquire new clients. This will include:
- Contributing to proposals and bids
- Developing presentations
- Developing service offerings
- Writing articles and white papers
- Presenting at industry events
- Contributing to thought leadership within the company
- Ensuring that the company are up-to-date on industry sector developments
Location:
Central London with clients mainly in the M1 Corridor and European Wide.
Salary:
Competitive market rates; depending upon experience plus an excellent benefits package including Pension, Life Cover, Private Medical and Income Protection Scheme.
Special Notes:
All Candidates MUST have a minimum of 5 years consulting business analysis and project life cycle experience using structured methods. Language skills are considered an advantage.
